Rachel had a secret.

Rachel, 22, lived with her grandmother and had a good job with a high-tech company in the Bay Area. However, she had a secret problem. A man whom she used to consider her boyfriend, was forcing her to have sex with other men for money. She did not want to call law enforcement or tell anyone for fear of being arrested and losing her job and reputation. She was scared of both her boyfriend and his father who we confirmed is also a pimp. We believe they were trafficking her in Mexico, Arizona and New York. Our investigators put her in a hotel, became her bodyguards, and had her stolen car returned from the suspects. We worked with another charitable organization to obtain a restraining order against these perpetrators. We continue to check in with Rachel about her willingness to testify against them, but for now, Rachel is simply happy to have them out of her life. Our investigators have made it clear to them that we know who they are, where they are, and that they won’t get away with hurting another woman
