A missing-child case does not let up when the first lead comes in, and Finding Kids does not disappear once a child is home. Ongoing donor support gives the team the flexibility to keep working the case and keep supporting the family.
Your gift helps make sure investigators can follow the next lead and advocates can stay with parents through the uncertainty, the return, and the rebuilding that follows.

Predator Targeting
Preventing exploitation
Finding Kids works with participating law enforcement agencies on proactive operations designed to identify adults seeking to exploit minors. The program operates only through formal agreements with law enforcement, with every operation conducted in close coordination with the participating agency.
What It Is
Children are increasingly approached online by adults who use games, social platforms, and private messaging to build trust, test boundaries, and pursue exploitation. These offenders target children from every type of family and community. Finding Kids launched its Predator Targeting Program in 2025 to help law enforcement identify and stop these adults before another child is harmed.
The program operates only through formal agreements with participating police departments, with every operation conducted in close coordination with law enforcement. Since its launch, the program has helped lead to 18 arrests (to be continually update). Its purpose is clear: develop actionable evidence, support arrests and prosecutions, and hold predators accountable. To protect active operations, participating agencies, and the people involved, Finding Kids does not disclose identities, locations, platforms, investigative methods, or other sensitive details.
Your support gives law enforcement another powerful tool to identify predators and protect children before exploitation occurs.
Track Record
Between April 2025 and May 2026, the program contributed to 18 arrests, with 2 convictions secured so far and more cases moving through the justice system.
Per the org, Finding Kids is (to their knowledge) the only nonprofit working in an official capacity with law enforcement in Northern California to run this type of program, and other agencies are already expressing interest in it.

“We have worked together on numerous cases, which have led to the safe recovery of child exploitation and sex trafficking victims.”
There are no fees for our services, ever. Every search and every hour of Family Support is funded by people who decided a missing child was their problem too.
